Vietnamese culture was heavily influenced by Chinese culture due to the 1000 years of Northern rule.Elements considered to be characteristic of Vietnamese culture include ancestor veneration, respect for community & family, manual labour and living in harmony with nature.

Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. 


  • Hanoi is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences.There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse.



  • Hạ Long Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. Junk boat tours and sea kayak expeditions take visitors past islands named for their shapes, including Stone Dog and Teapot islets.

  • Ho Chi Minh City, commonly and formerly officially known as Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam, situated in the south. In the southeastern region, the city surrounds the Saigon River.

Cao Dai Temple

Cao Dai Temple (also known as Cao Dai Holy See) was constructed in 1933 in a unique architectural style that reflects its blended traditions. Cao Dai blends Buddhism.


Thien Mu Pagoda

The Pagoda of the Celestial Lady is a historic temple in the city of Huế in Vietnam. Its iconic seven-story pagoda is regarded as the unofficial symbol of the city.

Exploring Japan Two major religions influence Japanese traditions and culture:  Shintoism and Buddhism . Shintoism has been practiced in Japan for over 2,000 years. Shintoism has a lot to do with rituals, some Japanese may not feel it is a religion at all. The culture of Japan has changed greatly over the millennia.
